FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the game free?

Yes, completely. There are no ads, subscriptions or in-game purchases.

Which browsers does it work in?

Any modern browser with WebGL: Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Opera — on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android and iOS. Nothing to install.

If the game runs slowly, close other tabs, enable hardware acceleration in your browser settings or choose a smaller map.

Can I play on a phone or tablet?

Yes. Tap to select, tap the map with units selected to give orders, long-press and drag for box selection, and pinch with two fingers to zoom. It plays best on a tablet or on a phone held in landscape. Details in the guide.

How do I change the site’s language?

Use the language picker. On your first visit the language is chosen based on the country you connect from, and your choice is remembered in a cookie.

Why wasn’t my match counted?

Matches shorter than one minute don’t count. Otherwise, every match is re-simulated by the server before it’s counted, so nobody can cheat; this usually takes a few seconds, sometimes longer when the server is busy.

The match must be played while signed in. If you played from another tab where you weren’t signed in, or the connection dropped before the end, it may not have been submitted.

How does the leaderboard work?

Rank comes only from ranked matches: exactly 2 players, no computer opponents, on a generated map, with “Ranked match” ticked by the host. Rating is calculated with Glicko-2: you gain more when you beat someone better than you.

Level (1–100) is separate: it grows with the experience earned in any verified game — campaign, battles against the computer or multiplayer.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Password reset by email is coming soon. Until then, write to us at [contact email] from your account’s email address and we’ll help you regain access.

How do I delete my account?

From the Account settings page → delete account. You can also export your data there first. Details in the Privacy Policy.

How do I play with friends?

In the game, open Multiplayer, type a room name (e.g. “friday-night”) and join; your friends type the same name. The host picks the map and the mode (free-for-all, teams, or co-op against the computer) and starts the game. Up to 8 players.

Where are my saves?

Battle saves are stored in the browser you played in (up to 12). If you clear your browser data, they’re lost — download them as a file from the game menu if you want to keep them. Campaign progress, XP and rank are stored in your account.

What happens if my internet drops during multiplayer?

You have 60 seconds to come back: reload the page and you’ll rejoin the same match. After that, you’re removed from the game.
